Stihl REA 60 Plus Cordless Pressure Washer

The STIHL REA 60 PLUS (Body Only) is the first professional-grade solution for cleaning where neither power nor a tap exists. While competitors offer “power washers” that are little more than glorified garden hoses, the REA 60 delivers a true 100 bar (1450 psi) operating pressure from a high-efficiency aluminum pump head. This “Body Only” version is the strategic choice for current STIHL AK System users, allowing you to leverage your existing AK 30 S batteries to wash down mountain bikes at the trailhead, clean farm machinery in the field, or blast coastal salt off your boat at the slipway. Engineered with a brushless EC motor, it manages energy so efficiently that it provides a consistent, high-pressure stream until the battery is depleted, ensuring that “portable” finally means “powerful.”

• Self-Priming Suction Capability: This is the REA 60’s “secret weapon.” When paired with the optional STIHL suction hose, this unit can draw water from any static source—a water butt, a stream, or even a bucket. It doesn’t need “head pressure” from a tap to work, making it the only true off-grid pressure washer for remote work sites.

• 3-in-1 Multi-Function Nozzle: No more losing separate tips in the grass. The REA 60 features a permanently attached 3-in-1 turret nozzle. With a simple twist, you switch between a high-impact Fan Jet for surfaces, a Rotary Nozzle for stubborn grime, and a Detergent Mode for pre-washing. It’s the fastest “mode-switch” in the portable market.

• Integrated “Clean-Path” Hose Reel: Unlike other compact washers where the hose is an afterthought, the REA 60 has a built-in high-pressure hose reel with a winding guide. This prevents kinking and “hose-memory” curls, ensuring that the 5-meter textile mesh hose deploys and retracts smoothly every time.

• Infinitely Variable Pressure Control: Located directly on the unit is a stepless dial. This allows you to drop the pressure to a gentle mist for cleaning expensive carbon-fiber bike frames or delicate wood furniture, then crank it back up to 100 bar for masonry—saving both water and battery runtime in the process.

• Split-Lance Storage System: For transport in small vehicles, the spray lance is designed to split into two compact sections. These clip securely into dedicated molded slots on the side of the machine, along with the gun, creating a completely self-contained, snag-free package that won’t roll around in your boot.

• Resin-Encapsulated IPX5 Electronics: Since this tool is designed to work in wet environments, the control module and battery terminals are fully protected against water splashes from any angle. This industrial-level waterproofing ensures that overspray from the job won’t cause the short-circuits common in cheaper “cordless” clones.
