Stihl ASA 20 Cordless Secateurs

The ASA 20 battery-powered secateurs are the perfect tool for easy pruning, dead-heading and cutting up garden waste. Ideal if you have mobility issues, or just need the extra power to be able to cut through thicker stems with ease, the powered blades can get through green material up to 25mm in thickness. The blades can be set to two different opening widths, depending on what you are cutting. This makes it quicker to cut smaller branches or stems as the blades won’t open to the maximum width. It also has a progressive cut so you have more control over the trigger when carrying out precise cuts. With the 10.8 volt AS 2 battery, the secateurs weigh less than 1kg so they are comfortable to use over longer periods and on a full battery charge, the ASA 20 can make up to 2000 cuts. They have a clear display on the tool, which shows the current charge level, the total number of cuts made and which blade opening width has been selected. The secateurs come with a plastic guard to protect the blades during transport or storage and there is a handy tool included in the battery opening, which can be used to carry out maintenance tasks, such as adjusting the blades.. Part of the ever growing Stihl AS2 battery range. This machine shares the same battery as a range of pruners, strimmer’s , blowers and power washers. The perfect domestic size tool For convenient and space-saving storage,

INTEGRAGRATED ON-BOARD TOOL
. A compact maintenance tool is stored in the battery compartment, so you can easily adjust the blade clearance, lubricate the blades and open the service flap for blade replacement. Which means you always have the perfect tool at hand when you need it.

BLADE OPENING WIDTH
Suit thick and thin branches with flexible adjustment of blade opening . For a blade opening appropriate to the thickness of branches you are working with, you can choose between 2 opening widths. After initially switching on, the blade opening is always set to the larger width. The smaller opening width can be selected when you are pruning thinner branches. The benefit: the blade does not need to be fully opened. This increases cutting speed and work progress. The set blade opening width is shown on the display

PROGRESSIVE CUT

The secateurs have a progressive cut which means that the blade only closes as much as the control lever is pressed and then immediately opens when the lever is released. This means that you have maximum control over the cut, ideal for situations when more precise cutting is required.
