Stihl HSA 100 Cordless Hedgetrimmer Body Only

The STIHL HSA 100 is the definitive “silent partner” for landscaping professionals and large-estate owners who need to work in noise-sensitive zones without compromising on raw cutting power. Part of the elite AP System, this cordless powerhouse completely eliminates the high-pitched whine and fumes of petrol models while delivering a blistering 3,000 strokes per minute. Designed for the “marathon” workdays common in Irish gardening, the HSA 100 features a massive 60 cm double-sided blade with an extra-wide 34 mm tooth spacing, making it one of the few battery units capable of biting through old, woody growth that usually requires a petrol trimmer. If you are looking for a tool that pairs “whisper-quiet” operation with the rugged durability of an IPX4 splash-proof rating, the HSA 100 is in a league of its own.

• Intelligent Anti-Block Recovery System: Never manually unjam a blade again. If the HSA 100 hits a branch too thick to cut, the motor automatically detects the resistance and reverses the blade rotation to clear the jam instantly at the touch of a button.

• 180° Rotatable Multi-Function Handle: The rear handle locks into three distinct positions across a 180° arc. This unique “Ergo-Shift” allows you to maintain a natural, horizontal wrist position whether you are cutting a flat top or a vertical side, significantly reducing long-term repetitive strain.

• EC (Brushless) Constant-Power Engine: Unlike standard motors that slow down as the battery drains or when hitting thick material, the HSA 100’s EC motor communicates with the battery to maintain a constant stroke rate until the very last drop of energy is used.

• Integrated Screw-On Cut Protection: While others use flimsy clip-ons, the HSA 100 features a screwed-on cut guard that provides a physical safety barrier between the user and the blades, which also incorporates an integrated tip protector to stop damage when working flush against walls or pavements.

• Optimal 34° Sharpening Angle: The blade geometry is laser-tuned to a specific 34° angle, which provides a “clean-shear” finish that promotes faster hedge healing and prevents the brown, shredded ends common with low-quality trimmers.

• Weather-Hardened IPX4 Construction: Specifically designed for professional use in unpredictable climates, the entire internal circuitry is sealed against splash water, allowing you to finish the job even when the Irish rain starts.
