Stihl HSA 130R Cordless Hedgetrimmer

Unleash the STIHL HSA 130 R, a professional-grade battery hedge trimmer designed not for simple shaping, but for the aggressive “R” (Rejuvenation) of overgrown, woody landscapes. While standard trimmers rely on high blade speeds that “skim” over thick growth, the HSA 130 R utilizes a high-torque gear ratio and a specialized low-stroke-rate motor that delivers unrelenting raw power to its 38mm tooth spacing. This allows it to slice through thick hawthorn and blackthorn stems that would cause lesser battery units to seize. Engineered for all-day commercial use, it features a cable-connected external battery system that removes the weight from your arms and places it on a belt or backpack, significantly reducing operator fatigue. If you need a zero-emission alternative that actually out-muscles petrol equivalents in the heaviest Irish garden reclamation projects, the HSA 130 R stands alone as the ultimate pruning beast.

• Low-Speed, High-Torque “Pruning” Gearing: The “R” variant is geared specifically for massive cutting force. With a maximum stroke rate of 3,200 rpm (compared to 5,000+ on trimming models), it acts like a series of miniature chainsaws, providing the torque required to pulverize branches up to 38mm thick.

• 3-Level “Cockpit” Stroke Control: Adjust your cutting power on the fly. The integrated digital keypad on the handle allows you to switch between 2,800, 3,000, and 3,200 rpm, optimizing battery life for light sections while saving the max-power “Level 3” for the gnarliest growth.

• Weight-Optimized “No-Slot” Design: By removing the onboard battery slot and moving the power source to a hip-holster or backpack battery (AR series), the trimmer’s weight is perfectly balanced between the handles, making it feel up to 30% lighter during overhead work.

• Screw-On “Replaceable” Blade Guard: Most trimmers have molded guards that, if damaged, require a full casing replacement. The HSA 130 R features a professional screw-on steel cut protector, allowing you to swap out worn parts in minutes to keep your safety standards high.

• Weather-Proof IPX4 Certified: Unlike many consumer battery tools, the HSA 130 R is fully certified for use in adverse weather, meaning you don’t have to stop working when the Irish rain starts—perfect for year-round commercial contracts.

• 90° Swivelling Multi-Function Handle: The entire rear handle assembly rotates 90 degrees left or right. This ensures your wrist stays in a neutral, natural position whether you are doing a vertical sweep or a flat head-height cut.

• Integrated “STIHL Connected” Recess: The motor housing features a pre-molded recess for the STIHL Connected 2A Smart Connector, allowing fleet managers to track runtime and maintenance intervals via Bluetooth automatically.
