Stihl AL 5 Fast Battery charger (AS Battery)

Tired of waiting for your GTA 26 or HSA 26 to recharge? The STIHL AL 5 Fast Charger is the industrial-grade upgrade designed to keep your garden projects moving. While the standard AL 1 charger takes over an hour, the AL 5 utilizes a high-amperage 4A current to slash wait times by 50%, recovering your battery to 80% in just 30 minutes. Engineered with a compact, heat-dissipating housing and a smart LED status matrix, it doesn’t just charge—it protects. By actively communicating with the AS 2 battery’s internal management system, the AL 5 ensures a rapid yet “gentle” charge that preserves cell longevity. If you want to spend more time pruning and less time staring at a wall socket, this is the essential performance upgrade for your AS-System toolkit.

• Double-Speed Rapid Recovery: Delivering a powerful 4A charging current, the AL 5 is twice as fast as the standard AL 1. It brings an empty AS 2 battery to 100% in a total of 50 minutes, ensuring your tools are ready before you’ve even finished your coffee break.

• Integrated “Wall-Dock” Logic: Designed for a tidy workshop, the AL 5 features a specialized rear mounting slot and an included industrial-grade Velcro cable tie. This allows you to mount the unit permanently on a wall or van racking without messy cable tangles.

• Pulse-Width LED Diagnostics: Unlike basic chargers with a single light, the AL 5 uses a specific flashing LED pattern to communicate exactly where the battery is in its cycle—differentiating between a standard charge, a cooling-down phase, and a full-capacity ready state.

• Intelligent Heat Management: Built with an advanced internal circuit that monitors ambient temperature; if the battery is too hot from heavy use, the AL 5 intelligently waits for the cells to reach the optimal temperature before engaging high-speed charging.

• “Snag-Free” Velcro Storage: Every AL 5 comes with a heavy-duty, integrated Velcro strap designed to keep the power cord tightly coiled and protected during transport, preventing the wire fatigue that usually kills cheaper chargers.

• High-Efficiency 60W Architecture: Optimized for low power waste, drawing only what is needed to maximize the 10.8V AS 2 cells, making it ideal for use with portable power stations or van inverters.
