12.3 Meter Trailer Mounted Boom Lift For Hire

The Niftylift 120T PE TD is not just a cherry picker; it is a specialized engineering solution for multi-site contracts where access and power flexibility are the primary hurdles. While standard 12-meter lifts are often cumbersome or “engine-only,” the PE TD (Petrol/Electric Traction Drive) model offers a unique bi-energy advantage, allowing you to tow to the site and then switch to silent, zero-emission battery power for indoor or residential work. Its standout feature is the Telescopic Upper Boom, which provides a massive 6.1m outreach—a critical metric that allows you to reach over conservatories, walls, and obstacles that stop standard articulating lifts in their tracks. For hire customers in Ireland, the 120T PE TD represents the perfect balance of a 1,400kg road-towable weight (suitable for most standard 4x4s and vans) and the industrial capability of a heavy-duty access platform.

• Integrated “Traction Drive” Maneuverability: Unlike basic trailer mounts that require manual pushing into place, the TD (Traction Drive) system allows you to drive the lift into position using its own power. This is a game-changer for solo operators or sites with gravel, grass, or slight inclines where manual positioning is impossible.

• Bi-Energy “PE” Power Flexibility: The unique Petrol/Electric setup allows for unlimited outdoor runtime via the petrol engine and silent, clean indoor operation via high-capacity batteries. This makes it the only lift you need for a job that starts on an exterior facade and moves inside a warehouse or atrium.

• Telescopic Axle Technology: In less than 60 seconds, the axles can be retracted, narrowing the machine width to just 1.1m (3ft 7in). This allows the 120T to pass through a standard double-doorway or narrow side gate—access that usually requires much smaller, less capable lifts.

• Hydraulic “Auto-Level” Outriggers: Forget manual winding. The 120T features fully hydraulic outriggers that can level the machine on uneven ground in seconds. Audible and visible alarms ensure the machine is 100% stable before the boom can be operated.

• Versatile “Up-and-Over” Geometry: The telescopic boom doesn’t just go high; it allows for precision outreach at lower levels. This “low-level reach” is specifically designed for working over parked cars or garden structures without repositioning the chassis.

• Micro-Proportional Hydraulic Controls: The control system provides “feathered” movement, allowing for millimetre-perfect positioning near delicate surfaces like glass or high-voltage lines—essential for painting, glazing, and maintenance work.

• ToughCage with SiOPS® Protection: Equipped with Niftylift’s award-winning Sustained Involuntary Operation Prevention System (SiOPS), which instantly stops all machine movement if the operator is pushed against the controls, virtually eliminating the risk of overhead crushing.
