Stihl AS 2 Battery

The STIHL AS 2 is a masterpiece of compact energy engineering, designed to provide high-performance power for the precision-oriented STIHL AS-System. Unlike generic small-format batteries that lose “punch” as they drain, the AS 2 features an Intelligent Battery Management System that ensures a flat power curve—delivering 100% cutting force from the first branch to the very last. Weighing a mere 220g, it transforms handheld tools like the GTA 26 pruner and HSA 26 shears into weightless extensions of your arm. This 10.8V lithium-ion cell isn’t just for fair-weather gardening; it boasts a professional IPX4 weather-resistance rating, making it one of the only compact batteries in the industry officially tested for splash protection in damp Irish conditions. For the gardener who demands “grab-and-go” convenience without sacrificing the legendary STIHL reliability, the AS 2 is the essential foundation of your cordless toolkit.
