Stihl KMA 200 R Cordless Kombi Engine Unit

The STIHL KMA 200 R is the world’s most powerful battery-powered KombiEngine, specifically engineered to outperform professional petrol units like the KM 131 R while maintaining near-silent operation. Boasting a staggering 50% power increase and 12% higher maximum RPM (9,500 RPM) than its predecessor (the KMA 135 R), this machine transforms the AP battery system into an industrial-strength powerhouse. Unlike consumer-grade multi-tools, the KMA 200 R utilizes Constant Power Technology, ensuring that your cutting torque remains at 100% from the first trigger pull until the battery is fully depleted. For the professional landscaper in Ireland working in noise-sensitive zones—schools, hospitals, or residential estates—the KMA 200 R provides the “petrol-equivalent” muscle needed for heavy clearing, hedge reduction, and pole pruning without the fumes, vibration, or engine maintenance.

• 9,500 RPM High-Velocity Output: While most cordless multi-tools peak at 8,000 RPM, the KMA 200 R hits 9,500 RPM. This extra speed is the difference between “tearing” grass and a clean, surgical cut that promotes healthier lawn regrowth.

• Tactical 3-Stage Speed Matrix with LED: A newly designed cockpit allows you to toggle between 6,300, 8,200, and 9,500 RPM instantly. The high-vis LED display ensures you can monitor your power mode even in direct Irish sunlight, allowing you to prioritize runtime or raw torque on the fly.

• FSS-KM “” iNCLUDED: The KMA 200 R is exclusively optimized for the FSS-KM attachment, featuring a massive 450 mm cutting diameter. This specialized head utilizes optimized airflow to reduce battery drain while providing a wider sweep than any other cordless Kombi tool.

• IPX4-Rated “All-Weather” Armor: Engineered for the Irish climate, the entire powerhead is IPX4 certified. This means it is fully protected against splash-water from all angles, allowing you to maintain productivity through drizzle and damp conditions that would sideline lesser electronics.

• Micro-Mesh Engine Cooling Filter: A feature borrowed from STIHL’s forestry saws; the fine metal mesh air filter prevents sawdust and organic debris from entering the motor. It’s easily removable and washable, ensuring the high-torque EC motor stays cool during multi-hour professional shifts.

• Tool-Less Quick-Mount Loop Handle: The new mounting system allows for 360° rotation and instant height adjustment without reaching for a spanner. This allows the operator to re-balance the machine’s center of gravity immediately when switching from a heavy pole pruner to a lightweight blower.

• Direct-Drive “Vibration-Sink”: By eliminating the mechanical clutch found in petrol units, the KMA 200 R achieves a significantly lower vibration level ($6.5 \text{ m/s}^2$), allowing for full-day commercial use without the risk of Hand-Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS).
