Stihl HTA 135 Cordless Pole Pruner

The STIHL HTA 135 is the most powerful cordless pole pruner in the AP System, specifically designed to bridge the gap between battery convenience and petrol-class torque. While many pole saws feel “top-heavy” or flimsy at full extension, the HTA 135 is built around a rigid-in-guidance square telescopic shaft that maintains surgical precision even at its maximum 405 cm (13.3 ft) reach. It shares the same field-proven, lightweight magnesium gearbox as the legendary petrol HT 135, ensuring it can withstand the mechanical stress of commercial arboriculture and fruit farming. For the professional in Ireland working in noise-sensitive zones or residential estates, the HTA 135 offers a silent, zero-emission solution that rivals a 36.3cc petrol engine, ensuring you never have to sacrifice power for the sake of the environment.

• Integrated “Aiming Line” Dipstick: Unlike consumer models, the sprocket cover features a raised “aiming line” cast directly into the magnesium. This allows the operator to maintain perfect directional control and “sight” the cut accurately, even when the head is 5 metres above the ground.

• Constant-Power Electronic Management: STIHL’s intelligent software ensures the 1.1 kW motor delivers 100% torque until the battery is completely empty. Unlike competitors whose performance “fades” as the battery drops, the HTA 135 cuts as aggressively at 5% charge as it does at 100%.

• Magnesium “Hook-Back” Chassis: The gearbox isn’t just a housing; it features a reinforced, cast-on branch hook. This is designed specifically for high-leverage removal of “hangers”—stuck branches that have been cut but remain snagged in the canopy.

• Metal Mesh Cooling System: To handle the high-torque demands of deep wood cutting, the HTA 135 features an easy-to-clean stainless steel mesh air filter. This maximizes airflow to the EC motor and electronics, preventing thermal shutdown during intensive summer pruning.

• Bi-Handed LED Management: The ergonomic control handle features a built-in LED display and a variable-speed trigger, allowing for “soft-starts” on delicate fruit trees or maximum chain speed (21 m/s) for heavy storm-damage clearance.

• Shock-Absorbing Protective Foot: Standard with every unit, the protective foot acts as a sacrificial base. It allows you to rest the tool safely on the ground or lean it against walls during breaks without damaging the battery housing or engine casing.

• IPX4 All-Weather Certification: Specifically tested for splash-water protection from all angles, this tool is “Irish-ready,” meaning you can continue professional operations in the damp, misty conditions that would sideline standard electric tools.
