Stihl SHA 140 Cordless Vacuum

The Stihl SHA 140 isn’t just a cordless leaf vacuum; it is a professional-grade shredder that delivers 15% more suction power than its legendary petrol predecessor, the SH 86. Designed for the high-volume cleanup of leaves, hedge trimmings, and grass clippings, the SHA 140 features an industrial metal shredder blade that achieves a massive 14:1 reduction ratio. This transforms 14 bags of loose debris into just one bag of nutrient-rich mulch, saving you hours of transit to the green waste skip. Unlike home-owner models, it is engineered with Air Flow Management technology—a specialized bag ventilation system that ensures suction power remains 100% constant even as the 55-litre bag nears its capacity. Whether you are clearing wet leaves from gravel or box-hedge trimmings from a lawn, the SHA 140 provides a “clean-to-the-surface” finish that typical blowers can’t match.

• No-Zipper “Buckle & Release” Bag: Standard vacuum bags fail at the zipper. The SHA 140 features a professional metal buckle closure system. This eliminates the primary point of failure on vacuum shredders, ensuring the bag remains airtight and easy to empty even after years of exposure to grit and moisture.

• Side-Recess Suction Protection: The suction tube is engineered with lateral recesses (slotted openings) at the nozzle tip. This prevents the “vacuum-seal” effect where the tube sticks to flat pavement or gets blocked by large mats of leaves, maintaining a consistent airflow regardless of the surface.

• Tool-Free “Vertical Stand” Maintenance: The SHA 140 is designed to be opened for cleaning while it stands vertically on its suction tube. You can access the metal impeller to clear a blockage or clean the housing without tools and without having to lay the tool down in the mud.

• Intelligent “Boost” Trigger Integration: Unlike blowers with a separate button, the SHA 140 features a variable speed trigger with a physical “second stage.” For 90% of work, you save battery on Level 1; when you hit a stubborn pile of wet mulch, you simply pull the trigger past the resistance point to engage Boost Mode instantly.

• AP-System Weight Displacement: The battery is positioned in a central well that aligns with the operator’s center of gravity. When using the included padded shoulder strap, the tool “floats” at the perfect angle for ground work, removing the 5.1kg weight from your wrists and transferring it to your core.

• Smart Connector 2 A Fleet Port: This tool is “Fleet-Ready,” featuring a dedicated port that plugs directly into the internal control unit. This allows pros to monitor shredder blade wear-cycles and actual motor load through the Stihl Connected portal—data that standard “slap-on” sensors can’t provide.
