Husqvarna 122RJ Brushcutter

Stop settling for underpowered trimmers that choke on thick grass; the Husqvarna 129RJ is engineered for homeowners who need professional-grade “grunt” in a lightweight, user-friendly frame. While most residential strimmers use smaller 21cc or 25 cc engines, the 129RJ steps up to a robust 27.6cc powertrain, delivering the extra torque required to swing a metal grass blade just as easily as a nylon line. This “J-handle” specialist is the bridge between a delicate garden trimmer and a rugged brushcutter, offering a unique hybrid design that allows you to safely use metal cutting equipment for clearing overgrown brambles while maintaining the nimble control needed for precise edge work around flower beds. Equipped with Husqvarna’s legendary Smart Start® technology, it reduces starter cord resistance by up to 40%, ensuring that high-performance maintenance begins with a single, effortless pull every time.

• High-Displacement 27.6\cc Engine: Provides a significant power boost over standard domestic models, ensuring the head speed doesn’t “bog down” when moving from thin grass into dense, matted weeds.

• The “J-Handle” Advantage: This unique handle configuration provides the perfect ergonomic balance. It allows the 129RJ to be used safely with both a Tap ‘n Go line head for trimming and a metal grass blade for heavier clearing—a versatility many loop-handle trimmers lack.

• Intuitive Smart Start® System: The engine and starter have been specifically designed so the machine starts quickly with minimum effort. The resistance in the starter cord is reduced by up to $40\%$, making it ideal for users who want pro power without the physical strain.

• Auto-Return Stop Switch: To prevent flooding and ensure a “ready-to-go” state, the stop switch automatically resets to the ON position after the engine is turned off, streamlining your workflow.

• E-TECH® II Emissions Control: High power doesn’t have to mean high fumes. The 129RJ engine is designed to reduce exhaust emissions without sacrificing the torque needed for heavy-duty cutting.

• Translucent Fuel Tank: Eliminate the guesswork mid-job. The large-capacity, see-through tank allows you to monitor fuel levels at a glance, so you never get caught out at the far end of the garden.

• Standard-Issue Grass Blade & Harness: Unlike many entry-level models, the 129RJ comes ready for heavy work, including a metal grass blade and a supportive shoulder harness to distribute the weight during long clearing sessions.
