Husqvarna ESA850 Edger attachment – straight shaft

The Husqvarna ESA 850 is the definitive lawn edger attachment engineered for contractors who refuse to compromise on the final aesthetic of a professional landscape. Designed specifically for the high-torque output of Husqvarna’s combi-engines, this heavy-duty tool transforms your power unit into a precision-guided cutting system that carves crisp, vertical boundaries through the densest grass and soil. While generic attachments struggle with vibration and clogging, the ESA 850 utilizes a reinforced drive shaft and an offset gearbox to maintain a clear line of sight and steady blade speed. It is the secret weapon for achieving that “golf-course” definition on curbs, driveways, and flower beds, delivering a level of durability and “clean-cut” performance that is simply unreachable by standard string trimmers.

• Self-Cleaning Debris Shield: The ESA 850 features a unique interior housing geometry that uses centrifugal force to eject soil and grass clippings, preventing the “clog-and-stall” issues common in wet Irish conditions.

• Precision Sight-Line Geometry: The gearbox is specifically angled to provide the operator with an unobstructed view of the blade’s entry point, allowing for surgical accuracy on long, straight runs.

• Heavy-Duty Support Wheel with Infinite Adjustment: Unlike fixed wheels, this oversized, rubberized guide wheel features a quick-dial depth adjustment, allowing you to switch from shallow turf edging to deep trenching in seconds.

• Hardened Steel “Life-Plus” Blade: Equipped with a high-carbon, dual-tip blade designed to resist abrasion against concrete curbs and hidden stones, staying sharper for up to 30% longer than standard aftermarket blades.

• Anti-Vibration Coupled Drive: Features an internal dampening system that isolates the gearbox pulses from the main shaft, protecting the operator’s hands and the engine’s clutch from premature wear.

• Dual-Point Guard Protection: A heavy-duty, wrap-around metal guard protects the gear head from impact damage when working tight against granite or stone borders.
