GTM 400 PC 16″ Lawnmower

The GTM 400 PC (Professional Compact) is engineered for the homeowner who demands commercial-grade durability in a maneuverable, 16-inch package. While most entry-level mowers rely on flimsy plastic decks, the GTM 400 features a heavy-duty reinforced steel chassis that provides the structural integrity needed to maintain a perfectly level cut over uneven Irish terrain. Powered by the legendary Briggs & Stratton 450E Series engine, it delivers a high-torque performance that refuses to stall in thick, damp grass. This isn’t just a mower; it’s a precision instrument designed with a “vortex” airflow system that ensures 100% of clippings are forced into the 45-litre collector, leaving your lawn completely debris-free in a single pass. If you have a garden up to 1,000 m² and want a machine that starts on the first pull and outlasts the competition by a decade, the GTM 400 is the ultimate “small-garden” powerhouse.

• Industrial-Grade Steel “Anti-Flex” Deck: Unlike the standard 1.2mm steel found on budget mowers, GTM uses a thicker-gauge steel deck treated with a specialized anti-corrosion coating to withstand the acidity of wet grass clippings.

• Single-Lever “One-Touch” Height Logic: Forget wrestling with four separate wheel adjusters. The GTM 400 utilizes a centrally balanced single lever that shifts the entire chassis height instantly across five precision settings.

• High-Velocity “Turbo” Collection Blade: The blade is designed with oversized aerodynamic “wings” that create a massive upward draft. This “vacuum effect” pulls flat-lying grass upright before cutting it, ensuring a cleaner finish and no clogging in the chute.

• Fold-Down “Zero-Footprint” Storage: The ergonomic handles feature quick-release tensioners, allowing you to fold the machine down to the size of a large suitcase for easy transport in a car boot or storage in a tight garden shed.

• Nylon “Air-Flow” Grass Bag: The 45-litre collector is constructed from high-tensile nylon mesh rather than rigid plastic. This allows air to escape more freely, which significantly improves the suction power and prevents “blow-back” when the bag is getting full.

• Low-Emission 450E OHV Engine: This Briggs & Stratton unit is optimized for the Irish climate; its Overhead Valve (OHV) design ensures it runs cooler and uses 25% less fuel than side-valve engines, while exceeding all current European emission standards.

• “Feather-Touch” Push Maneuverability: At just 25 kg, the GTM 400 is one of the lightest steel-deck mowers on the market. It is perfectly balanced over its oversized rear wheels, making it effortless to steer around tight flowerbeds and garden furniture.
